Exceptional images generated by computer systems that are impossible to differentiate from an illustration or a real photo. This is the broad theme of the exhibition at the Maison de l’Image in spring 2025.
On display will be Deep Fakes, generally featuring global celebrities, fabulous parodies of art history, science fiction revisited in a more incredible way, visual accidents with incongruous results and, above all, a selection of artists who have set their sights on AI as a creative tool, not to mention non-artists who do not claim talent but produce surprising images. An essential part of the exhibition will be devoted to images expressing the questions, if not the justified fears, since the advent of AI.
