Face2Face is an intimate exhibition, a meeting with certain personalities from the world of communication and the media.
Not an exhaustive tour, but rather a stroll through the expressions, characters and backgrounds that time has imprinted on the faces of these communicators, whether well-known or not.
Face2Face is an old dream that Patrick Acken has been dreaming about for many years.
Confronting the expressions of real communicators' "faces" with the lens of his camera, without concessions. No make-up. No styling. No retouching. Against a neutral background. A face-to-face encounter with the expressiveness of the face. The gaze. Of personality. Sublimated by the magic of Black & White.
A delicate and courageous exercise that some of the "Faces" agreed to undertake with Patrick Acken because they felt good about themselves and the visible expression of their personality.
