The launch of a new concept led to the first hybrid general meeting of a prestigious Belgian family foundation.
Based on the activity of a live audience interaction platform (voting, messaging) for 7 years, the solution is initiated by the 1st crisis of COVID 19 (March 2020) by offering opportunities in the congress sector that have seen themselves deprived of face-to-face.
B-meeting.online is an original synergy of three players, including Seed Factorythe well-known coworking and business center in Brussels, Stream It Studio with its visio-communication 3.0 technology and studio, and Votick, a Belgian start-up that has been active for 8 years with its interaction platform (voting, quizzes, polls and instant messaging) for live events.
Its founder, Axel Sacha Timmermans, became a designer of interactive solutions in the congress and seminar sector after spendinǵ 10 years at UCB in IT management of visual communication. He reacted to the challenge of new meeting rules and this, at StartupVie's call in 2020 to offer his services, in a supportive way, to SMEs and organizations in operational difficulty.

The B-meeting.online project responds to the challenges of the Covid19 crisis by facilitating remote meetings with a unique management and services package for hybrid meetings. The opportunity presented by this new type of meeting is to exploit the advantages of both remote and present modes to make formal events more flexible to organize and more attractive to the audience.
The potential for migration to new processes indicates exponential growth in demand. The project is part of a new era of post-Covid adaptation and improvement of remote meetings.

Any plans for the future?
B-Meeting.online has just developed new specific functionalities (weighted voting, management of proxies and debates in application of legal rules, mandated supervision, secure system) for general meetings, committees and syndicate/owner associations. Artificial intelligence integration (voice to text) and a reinforcement of the legal and protocol aspects of this new type of event are also under development.
